The Civil Society of Azerbaijan has unveiled its first National Agenda for Change, presented during the 1st Civil Society Forum. The Agenda outlines key policy recommendations aimed at strengthening and modernizing the civil society sector in the country.
The National Agenda focuses on five main areas:
- Registration of non-governmental organizations (NGOs);
- Activities and operational environment of NGOs;
- Economic activity and taxation;
- Inclusive and participatory policy decision-making;
- Enhancing transparency among donors and NGOs.
